My journey into counselling began long before my formal training. For over fifteen years I worked as a pub landlord, meeting people from every walk of life. Behind almost every conversation was a story—people carrying grief, anxiety, relationship struggles, uncertainty, or simply the weight of everyday life. Those years taught me the value of genuine human connection and the importance of being truly present with someone. They continue to shape the way I work as a counsellor today.

I understand that starting counselling can feel daunting, so my priority is to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgement.
